In celebration of its ninth anniversary, J.CO Donuts & Coffee is offering two dozen of its delicious donuts for only Php550 until March 17!

Originating from Indonesia in the early 2000s, J.CO Donuts set about creating soft and fluffy donuts that come with all sorts of premium toppings and fillings.

Taking advantage of this offer, I had two boxes, each with a dozen of these treats, delivered to my home for the fam’s dessert.

The most notable among these sweet offerings include:

Al Capone. Dipped in white chocolate with toasted sliced almonds strewn on top, this donut has been my go-to treat since I first stepped into a J.CO Donuts store.
Berry Spears. Filled with whipped cream, dipped in strawberry jam and garnished with flakes of white chocolate, it is a fruity confection for dessert lovers.
Caviar Chocolate. Dipped in hazelnut chocolate with dark chocolate coated crisps sprinkled on top, it’s a treat for chocolate lovers.
Mr. Green Tea. Dipped in green tea chocolate with crushed toasted almonds strewn on top, it will appeal to matcha fans.

With the sheer variety of donut options included in these boxes, we found our all-time faves and some new ones, too!

This J.CO Donut & Coffee branch is located at Ground Floor, 1800 Eastwood Avenue, Libis, Quezon City, open daily from 10am to 5pm.

One of the latest stores to open in SM City East Ortigas is J. CO Donuts and Coffee. You won’t be able to miss it; it’s facade will greet you as soon as you get through the main entrance. The resto is quite spacious with both high tables suitable for working and comfy sofas for talking with friends. Aside from the seats inside the store, additional seats are also available outside near the escalator. You will also find some merchandise for sale such as branded mugs and tumblers if you’re inclined to bring home a souvenir.

The donut variant I usually end up ordering is the AlCapone (see that clever wordplay? That happens a lot with J. CO). The soft-bite donut is dipped into creamy Belgian white chocolate then topped with roasted almond slices.

My daughter (and my usual companion during my snacking expeditions) prefers Heaven Berry: a donut dipped into strawberry cream with a garnish of white chocolate swirl.

I love the relaxing atmosphere of this resto, perfect for desserts and snacking.
